Job summary

Mars, Incorporated (Royal Canin facility in Fremont, NE) is seeking a Forklift Operator/Production Utility to support efficient production of quality products in the assigned area. The role requires operating equipment safely, handling warehouse duties, and providing support across production, sanitation, and shipping functions.

Ideal candidates will be 18+, hold a high school diploma or GED, be forklift certified, and able to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Willing to work varying shifts and schedules.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.
• Forklift certified.
• Knowledge of inventory computer systems (WMS).
• Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct periodic and routine inventories of raw materials.
• Perform maintenance checks on equipment.
• Assist in production, sanitation, maintenance, and quality activities.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively with staff to optimize quality, efficiency, productivity and safety.
• Load trucks and manage shipments.
• Operate Forklift at expert level.
• Handle hold product disposition and food safety holds.
