Job summary

Charter Next Generation, Inc. in Lexington, OH is seeking a Shipping Operator to monitor production lines that turn raw resin into film used for packaging, protecting food and medicine.

You will join a close-knit team with hands-on training and real opportunities to grow, including a defined career path from day one. Position offers a 15-day-per-month schedule with a rotating 3-4 day rhythm, 12-hour shifts (7:00 am–7:00 pm), overtime built in, and a night differential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Progress through Operator levels.
• Experience/skilled at utilizing forklift to handle pallets with irregular shapes and weights to 1,250+ lbs.
• Load/unload finished goods pallets safely on/off trucks and in/out of warehouse racks/conveyors.
• Check that loads are complete and loaded properly.
• Ensure the paperwork for outbound and inbound shipments are correct before the Bill of Ladings is signed.
• Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the forklift battery and lubricating equipment.

Position Schedule

Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 3-4 day schedule:

• A - Day Shift: 7:00am - 7:00pm (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & rotating Saturday's)
