Qualifications

• Undergraduate or associate’s degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
• 5 years’ demonstrated manufacturing supervisory experience in related industry.
• Dynamic and engaging leadership skills.
• High level of mechanical and ironwork aptitude.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and management of workers preparing packages and products for shipping.
• Coordinate with other sites on products shipped and destination.
• Ensure safety in all facets of the facility and complete required paperwork.
• Document incidents or near-misses and conduct root cause analyses.
• Monitor and adjust productivity to meet production standards.
• Maintain equipment and ensure availability as required.
• Lead material handlers and assemblers and promote cross-training.
