Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to support the Distribution Manager in daily warehouse and distribution operations. You will help ensure accurate shipments, on-time deliveries, inventory integrity, and productive teams, with a focus on coordinating FedEx, UPS, and other outbound shipments.

A background with 3+ years in warehouse or logistics, supervisory experience, and familiarity with FedEx/UPS shipping documentation is preferred.

Qualifications

3+ years in warehouse, shipping, or logistics.
Experience with FedEx, UPS, LTL carriers and carrier docs.
Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Distribution Manager in directing daily warehouse and distribution activities.
Ensure customer shipments are accurate and shipped on time.
Monitor and verify daily FedEx, UPS, LTL, and other outbound shipments.
Serve as backup for Warehouse Operator handling FedEx/UPS shipments.
Process shipping docs, labels, bills of lading, and carrier paperwork.
Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged shipments, and delivery issues.
Coordinate with Customer Service, Production, Planning, and Purchasing to meet priorities.
Assist with inventory control activities including cycle counts and accuracy.
Support warehouse organization and storage of finished goods and materials.
Train and coach warehouse personnel on shipping procedures.
Monitor workflow and labor utilization to maximize efficiency.
Assist with carrier scheduling and transport-provider communications.
Generate and maintain shipping, inventory, and performance reports.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, service, and productivity.
