Job summary

The ODPGroup, through its Office Depot family of brands, is seeking a Shipping Manager in Denver to lead daily distribution and transportation activities, owning P&L for the assigned area.

You will oversee a team of approximately 20-50 coworkers, driving safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Collaboration with site and regional leaders will refine processes to deliver excellent service for internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role in distribution, transportation, and/or operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage efficient receipt, storage, order fulfillment, loading, and/or transportation activities, including third-party providers, with focus on KPIs, quality, service and cost.
• Utilize forecasting tools and methodologies to align labor, capacity, and resources with current and anticipated volume; monitor and act on performance data.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external customers, and carriers; participate in leadership meetings and audits; identify opportunities for process improvements.
