Job summary

NEFCO is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for pulling, packing, and shipping materials from our Sparks, NV distribution facility. You will verify items against ERP/RF records, load trucks, and operate forklifts and other equipment.

The role requires ability to read layouts, multitask, and maintain strict safety and labeling standards while coordinating with management and branch personnel.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret warehouse layouts for planning purposes
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Must have a positive, hard-working attitude
• Ability to establish priorities and work with little supervision
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand on concrete floors for long periods
• Ability to work in varying climate conditions (cold, heat, humidity)
• Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl and twist for lifting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to read and interpret computer images and documents

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales potential through proper pulling, packing and shipping procedures.
• Verify items received against RF/ERP system records.
• Load trucks and operate equipment such as forklifts or cherry pickers.
• Operate forklift and related machinery safely.
• Pull, pack and ship all outbound products from the warehouse.
• Ensure correct labeling and outbound truck alignment; communicate with management.
