Job summary

Kasai North America, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee daily shipping activities, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time. You will lead the Shipping department and work with Group Leaders to maintain efficiency and safety.

This role emphasizes data accuracy, problem solving, and cross-department coordination. You will assist with daily operations, monitor inventory levels, and implement continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily activities of the Shipping department in conjunction with the Group Leaders and employees in their goal of shipping finished goods to customers in a correct and timely manner.
• Assists Group Leaders in their daily activities.
• Investigates and solves intra-departmental problems that may occur in daily operations.
• Maintains accurate records of necessary data.
• Initiates Corrective Action Requests and follows through to completion.
• Coordinates with other departments on inventory levels and other related matters.
• Seeks better ways of operation to maximize output.
• Maintains inter-departmental communications.
• Creates an environment within the department that is positive and encourages employee involvement.
• Provides and maintains a safe and clean working environment following prescribed guidelines.
• Supports the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and environmental policies.
