Job summary

Vytex Windows in Laurel, MD is seeking a dependable Shipping Supervisor to lead our shipping operations at the window manufacturing facility. The role focuses on safe, accurate, on-time delivery, overseeing dealer and installer pickups, coordinating with JB Hunt, and developing a skilled shipping team.

You will manage daily schedules, ensure proper packing, labeling, and scanning in FeneVision, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in shipping, warehouse, or logistics operations.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in manufacturing shipping preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staging, loading, and scanning of finished products; ensure accuracy and timely shipments.
• Build and manage shipping schedules with Production and Customer Service.
• Coordinate dealer and installer pickups and coordinate with JB Hunt.
• Monitor carrier performance and safety compliance.
• Lead shipping team, provide coaching and annual reviews.
• Ensure OSHA safety and proper PPE usage.
