Job summary

inTEST Corporation, a global supplier of engineered test and production solutions, is seeking a Production Associate at its Mount Laurel, NJ facility. The role focuses on shipping, receiving, and mechanical assembly with opportunities to expand into other production areas.

You will work in a climate-controlled warehouse, use hand and power tools, read work orders and drawings, and support timely production while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in shipping/warehouse/production environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook/Teams).
• Ability to read assembly drawings and follow procedures.
• Manual dexterity with hand tools and reading schematics.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing up to 7 hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment.
• Use software to create shipping documentation.
• Box, wrap, and pack merchandise per procedures.
• Handle fragile items carefully.
• Operate power, pneumatic, and hand tools.
• Inspect equipment and products for quality.
• Follow work orders and drawings.
• Meet production deadlines and communicate issues.
• Training in electro-mechanical assembly possibly.
• Work in a climate-controlled warehouse.
