SUMMARY

Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product.Performs manual labor along a production line. Operates and troubleshoots production. Perform minor repairs as necessary.Need to be able to read and understand blueprints, manuals, and work with computers.

JOB DUTIES
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Resolves assembly production issues.
  • Complete preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed.
  • Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum
