Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Shipping position in Wisconsin. The role runs on the 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:00pm, with a wage of $18.00/hour.

This entry-level position involves coordinating material movement, operating equipment, and ensuring proper shipping containers are used. Responsibilities include interfacing with all departments, handling materials, and continuously documenting processes for improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous industrial experience is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
• Able to bend at waist and twist at waist/arms.
• Able to stand for 8+ hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Interface work between all departments and the handling and processing materials into and out of the area.
• Operate equipment in the Materials area.
• Identify destination of materials being shipped and ensure proper shipping containers are used.
• Become familiar with receiving methods.
• Process, evaluate, measure, document, and assist with improvement on a continuous basis.
