Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a warehouse associate to handle materials from the shipping department, conduct inventory, and support shipments across the plant and yard. The role includes packing, loading orders, and operating a forklift safely to move goods.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year in a warehouse environment, and 2+ years forklift experience preferred. The position is 1st shift with a $19/hr base pay and potential overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ years in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• 2+ years of forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer to read and input data.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Able to work 1st Shift ($19/hr).
• Ability to think critically and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to Pick and Large Pack.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull parts for production areas and accurately stock parts in warehouse locations.
• Shipping/Receiving of outgoing & incoming materials.
• Picking and Packing (Medium and Large Pack).
• Maintain a clean/organized work area and maintain equipment accordingly.
• Comply with safety requirements and company policies.
• Complete production and quality assurance forms.
• Participate actively in team meetings and group discussions.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities or events as required.
• Adhere to Quality Management System Requirements.
