Job summary

Trova Advisory Group seeks a Shipping Manager in Mesquite, Texas to lead the shipping department through a growth phase. Direct hire, onsite, with a $70k-$90k pay range and a Monday–Friday schedule. You will supervise shipping activities, coordinate with carriers, and optimize processes to ensure timely delivery of our products.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to drive KPIs and operational metrics in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of shipping, 3PL, or production experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or HS diploma with relevant experience.
• Ability to mentor a team and work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all shipping activities and coordinate with carriers.
• Optimize shipping processes and support customer satisfaction.
• Manage a shipping team and ensure on-time delivery of products.

Shipping Manager
Location: Mesquite, Texas

Salary Range: $70k - $90k DOE

A globally recognized leader in manufacturing consumer and industrial pressure washers and outdoor power equipment, is seeking a talented Shipping Manager to lead our shipping department through a phase of rapid growth and innovation. In this vital role, you will oversee all shipping activities, coordinate with carriers, optimize processes, and contribute directly to customer satisfaction and operational success. Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping, 3PL, or a production environment
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration and carrier coordination
• Proficient in interpreting MRP systems is a plus
• Solid decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
• Adept at working under pressure and meeting deadlines

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with developing KPIs and operational metrics
• Familiarity with logistics software and advanced shipping notice (ASN) creation
• Prior experience managing a team of 8-12 personnel
• Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and freight routing

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred
• High School Diploma with relevant work experience will also be considered

Other Requirements:

• Ability to manage and mentor a team
• Experience working with carriers across TL, LTL, and small package shipping
• Strong understanding of customer requirements, routing guides, and vendor agreements
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training programs to enhance operational efficiency
