Job summary

Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Traffic Coordinator to join their team in McAllen, TX. The role involves coordinating inbound and outbound freight, communicating with carriers and customers, and ensuring timely shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Pay is $15 per hour, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule and some Saturdays. This position offers opportunities for growth within a collaborative, safety-focused team and exposure to diverse logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements.
• Communicate with carriers, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding shipment status.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve transportation issues.
• Maintain accurate records in transportation and warehouse management systems.
• Monitor daily shipment schedules and ensure service commitments are met.
• Support operational reporting and customer service requirements.
