Job summary

Green Bay Packaging in De Pere, WI is seeking a forklift operator to load/unload trailers, scan inventory, and maintain accurate records of items moved. You will work in a team environment, follow safety policies, and support timely shipments.

Overtime is required and shifts may rotate include night options. A high school diploma and forklift experience are preferred. Comprehensive benefits, PPE provided, and retirement plans are part of the package.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous machine operations experience in manufacturing is preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Good human relations skills and strong verbal communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift to load and unload items from trailers.
• Accurately report items loaded, unloaded, and time.
• Scan inventory items for accuracy.
• Maintain inventory of finished goods and plant supplies.
• Create bill of ladings when needed.
• Coordinate with carriers for outbound shipments.
• Load trucks per customer specifications.
• Place protective sheets and pads on unit loads and band as instructed.
• Track inventory of supplies and notify when low.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
