Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking a forklift operator to handle loading/unloading, moving materials, and supporting production according to schedules. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to OSHA guidelines at our Wisconsin facility.

Responsibilities include transporting materials, stacking and organizing inventory, performing equipment checks, and ensuring loads are secure while following production directives. A valid license and basic skills are required; Class A is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury; promote a safe work environment.
• May be required to use an RF scanner gun.
• Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required.
• Class A license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
• Provide raw or WHIP stock to production machines per the production schedule.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles.
• Moving goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility.
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets.
• Performing daily equipment checks on the Forklifts, per OSHA guidelines.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Dumping materials into machine hoppers.
• Any other job duties that may be assigned.
