Job summary

Field Fastener in Salem, OR is hiring for a distribution center position focused on efficient order fulfillment, inventory control, and shipping. You will work closely with the Team Leader, perform general warehouse tasks, and participate in ongoing process improvements.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, at least 2 years in shipping or DC operations, and experience with RF scanners and material handling equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime is required.

• 2+ years in shipping, receiving, or distribution center operation.
• RF Scanner experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily warehousing activities to meet goals in order-fulfillment, inventory control, quality, and shipping.
• Operate distribution center equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Read order details, manage paperwork, and respond to hot orders and expedited shipping requests.
• Troubleshoot shipping/technical issues and maintain clean, organized work areas.
