Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Memphis to perform a variety of warehousing tasks including receiving, storing, counting, picking, packaging, and distributing material. You will use lift trucks and other handling equipment to maintain inventory levels and support efficient carrier handoffs.

The role requires flexibility to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and different shifts, with a focus on safety, 5S practices, and continuous process improvements within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Able to perform at a fast-paced packaging environment.
• Perform accurately under stressful conditions.
• Flexibility to work overtime, holidays, weekends, different shifts, and different areas of the warehouse.
• Ability to follow instructions, processes and procedures.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Process all export parcel shipping requests through designated carrier systems.
• Process customer packages using an internal shipping system.
• Hand off all processed packages to carriers at the time of scheduled pick-ups.
• Palletize, wrap, strap, and/or stage packages according to the carrier and service level.
• Ensure drivers sign in and record truck arrival and departure times.
• Ensure trucks and sea containers are loaded correctly, including sealed when required and drivers sign paperwork and archive correctly.
• Support departmental process improvements.
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
• Follow and maintain 5s Program and guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment.
