Job summary

Plasticard Locktech International is seeking a Shipping Clerk to schedule and ship products to customers on time. The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Production and Project Managers to keep shipments on track.

Duties include rate quotes, picking, packing, and transacting material delivered on PLI delivery trucks. Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 1-2 years of warehouse and customer service experience, and familiarity with MS Office and MRP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Experience with MS Office applications and MRP/ERP applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze ship sheet/WIP and identify discrepancies.
• Schedule FTL and LTL loads accordingly.
• Ensure product to be shipped is inspected for current content according to WIP and Monarch.
• Transact material in Monarch.
• Work with material handler(s) to pack, wrap, and stage materials.
• Help load trucks and ensure BOL and shipping documents are signed.
• Ensure jobs are marked shipped and that all freight charges are entered in Monarch.
• Perform these and other duties as assigned by supervisor or other appropriate management personnel.
