Job summary

Buckeye Corrugated is seeking a Shipping Supervisor/Manager to direct the shipping department in our manufacturing plant. You will oversee scheduling, carrier coordination, and cross-shift communication to ensure safe, on-time loading and shipping of finished products.

Ideal candidates have 5 years in shipping supervision and prefer experience in corrugated packaging. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a focus on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a shipping supervisor or manager.
• High school diploma / GED required.
• Experience in the corrugated packaging industry highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct shipping department operations and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with customers and sales using provided tools.
• Monitor shipping schedule and work with Scheduler.
• Maintain filing system and process customer pickups.
• Lead and communicate with other supervisors across shifts.
• Administer the truck scheduling system and delivery plans.
• Develop delivery schedules for all orders and improve efficiency.
• Reconcile daily shipping logs and ensure accurate loading and shipping.
