Qualifications

• Professional in dealings with business partners/customers.
• Active participation in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Demonstrate driving skills for required equipment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to multitask with multiple shipments and issues.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint; basic Oracle transactions.
• Hazardous materials shipping knowledge per DOT/IATA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inbound receiving: accurately log deliveries into ERP and maintain receipts.
• Outbound shipping: pack, label, and record shipments per VG and DOT rules.
• Schedule carriers for on-time pickups and optimize transportation costs.
• Prepare dangerous goods declarations and maintain related records.
• Investigate and resolve shipment delays; coordinate with customs as needed.
• Maintain logs for VG vehicles and equipment (trucks, forklifts, etc.).
• Move materials between facilities and vendors; assist with loading.”,
