We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Shipping Lead to oversee daily shipping and order fulfillment operations within our dietary supplement manufacturing facility.

Reporting to department leadership, this position is responsible for coordinating shipping activities, directing personnel, monitoring workflows, and ensuring orders are processed, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who takes ownership of shipping goals, holds team members accountable, resolves challenges, and maintains high standards for accuracy, productivity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily shipping operations, assign tasks, establish priorities, and ensure fulfillment deadlines are met.
• Monitor order volume, employee productivity, workflow efficiency, and packing accuracy.
• Create and process shipping batches in ShipStation, including packing slips, labels, and documentation.
• Prioritize Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, wholesale, PR, affiliate, replacement, and promotional orders.
• Monitor shipping platforms to ensure order information is accurate across systems.
• Provide hands‑on leadership, coaching, training, and performance feedback to Shipping personnel.
• Verify packing accuracy, shipping labels, and compliance with company packaging standards.
• Identify and resolve shipping errors, order discrepancies, delays, and workflow challenges.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), PPE requirements, and safety standards.
• Maintain shipping records, operational spreadsheets, refund documentation, and Return to Sender (RTS) tracking.
• Coordinate address verification and resolve shipping information discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory organization, FIFO rotation, and shipping supply availability.
• Conduct routine shipping floor checks to monitor productivity, accuracy, and accountability.
• Assist with employee onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
• Communicate shipping delays, inventory concerns, and operational issues to leadership.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Affiliate, and Wholesale teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency, order accuracy, and team performance.
• Maintain a safe, organized, productive, and compliant Shipping environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years of shipping, warehouse, fulfillment, or related operational experience preferred.
• Previous shipping, warehouse, or fulfillment leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with ShipStation, Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar platforms preferred.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce fulfillment, inventory management, FIFO, and shipping documentation.
• Experience maintaining operational spreadsheets, shipping logs, and tracking records.
• Knowledge of SOPs, GDP, and workplace safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, direct personnel, and maintain efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, safety, and accountability.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional operational training preferred.
• Experience in dietary supplement, manufacturing, or warehouse environments preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and wear required PPE.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, carts, and shipping equipment.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
