Job summary

Paycom seeks a Shipping Supervisor to coordinate daily shipping, receiving, staging, loading, unloading, and material movement to support production and customer orders.

You will prepare shipping documents, verify shipments in Syspro, and lead a team of Shipping Utility staff, ensuring safety and accuracy across the warehouse. Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of shipping, receiving, logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with Syspro or a similar ERP system is preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, freight, warehouse, and inventory procedures, including freight rating and carrier selection.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound shipments, schedule freight, and select cost-effective shipping methods.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents (bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, invoices).
• Provide day-to-day direction to Shipping Utility employees and monitor workflow.
• Train and coach staff on shipping/receiving procedures, safety, and equipment operation.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and warehouse audits.
• Ensure materials and finished goods are available to production and shipping requirements.
