Job summary
Lab Alley is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to lead a fast-paced, accuracy‑driven packing and shipping team in Austin. You will coach associates, enforce safety and compliance, and ensure quality control while meeting daily throughput targets.
The role emphasizes process improvement, cross‑functional collaboration with Operations and Fulfillment, and adherence to regulated shipping standards. This is a full‑time on‑site position with growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience as shipping leader in ecommerce or regulated environments.
- 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role with coaching ability.
- Familiar with UPS Worldship and ERP/WMS platforms (Finale, Adobe).
- Hazmat experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop shipping associates to improve skills and productivity.
- Ensure packaging/shipping area operates efficiently and safely.
- Train packaging associates in a regulated environment.
- Maintain regulatory compliance with DOT, IATA, and 49 CFR standards.
