Job summary

Premier Packaging is seeking a Shipping Lead for its Thomson, GA facility. The role focuses on coordinating daily load schedules, carrier coordination for LTL and full loads, and overseeing inter-warehouse transfers of materials and finished goods.

The position requires at least 1–3 years as a forklift operator in a manufacturing or warehouse setting and forklift certification is preferred. You will back up the Shipping Supervisor, ensure paperwork accuracy, and drive safety and efficiency

Qualifications

• Forklift operator with 1–3 years experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations for forklift operation.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Back up for Shipping Supervisor when needed.
• Review daily load schedule for completeness and efficiency.
• Coordinate carrier scheduling for LTL and full loads.
• Oversee inter-warehouse transfers of materials and goods.
• Ensure accurate paperwork and bills of lading.
• Support process improvement and quality control initiatives.
