Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Shipping Lead to oversee real-time analysis, coordination, and balance of Shipping Operations, including allocation of picking/loading tasks. You will record and report outbound deliveries and support Shipping Managers in daily operations.

Requirements include 3+ years of warehouse leadership, proficiency in Word, Excel, SAP and Red Prairie, and flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience including leadership experience.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Record and report outbound deliveries.
• Coordinate picking/loading tasks in real time.
• Provide support to Shipping Managers and resolve interface issues with host system and WMS.
• Maintain knowledge of systems and procedures; ensure tasks completed accurately and on time.

Job TitleShipping LeadJob OverviewThe Shipping Lead is responsible for real time analysis, coordination and balance of Shipping Operations including allocation of picking/loading tasks. Other responsibilities will include:Recording and reporting of outbound deliveries.Provides support in reporting, researching and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely manner.Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.Provides administrative support for the Shipping Managers.Develops and maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all needed systems.Support Picking and Loading operation as needed.Under direct supervision of the DC Shipping Managers.
