Job summary

BeInBA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Lead to package and process finished plastic products for shipment. You will maintain detailed computerized records and manage shipping documents, supporting ER and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities include preparing products for shipping to customer specs, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring orders are filled; you will receive deliveries and help with workflow management.

• Ensure orders are fulfilled and merchandise is in proper condition before shipping.
• Receive incoming deliveries, log them and route to the appropriate department.
• Process shipping documents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support workflow management and basic problem solving related to shipping operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Shipping & Receiving Lead packages and processes finished small, specialized plastic products for shipment to customers. Responsibilities include the maintenance of detailed, computerized records of incoming and outgoing parts, workflow management, processing of required department paperwork and shipping documents, and handling of incoming raw materials. This position supports problem solving, ER, and root cause analysis.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare products for shipping according to Da/Pro and customer specifications, including packaging for transportation, weighing and measuring packages.
• Ensure that merchandise is in proper condition and that orders are filled properly before the items are sent to customers.
• Accurately maintain paper and computer records.
• Supports and/or manages outgoing shipments according to customer's requests and established company procedures, as required.
• Ensure shipping documents are complete, accurate and processed appropriately at time of shipment.
• Receive incoming deliveries, log, and deliver via hand truck to nearby building/department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Documented experience with mathematical calculations including weights and measures
• Ability to manage large amounts of information in a changing environment
