MITER Brands is seeking a Shipping Lead for the Night Shift in Flower Mound, TX. Compensation starts at $25.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

The role involves leading daily shipping operations, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities include supervising the line, addressing start-up issues, and performing quality checks and safety monitoring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum three years of experience in a production environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret regulations and policies.
• Willingness to train and motivate department personnel.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on department needs.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production needs and organize hot orders.
• Monitor attendance and cover for absent team members.
• Lead pre-shift stretches and start-of-shift briefings when Supervisor absent.
• Walk the line to address start-up problems and notify management as needed.
• Coordinate with material handlers or stockroom for supplies/parts.
• Check production flow and make adjustments as needed.
• Observe weld samples during shift and perform quality audits.
• Ensure repairs and daily production/parts are complete; shipment clear.
• Monitor team safety and environment.
• Ensure machines and lights are off at end of shift.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Step into Supervisor role in absence of Supervisor; Area Leader steps in for Team Leader.

MI Windows and Doors is looking for Shipping Lead to join our Night Shift team in Flower Mound, TX.Compensation starts at: $25.50-per hour (based on experience and qualifications)Shift: Starts at 7 PMMITER Brands is a family of leading window and door brands united by our passion for quality and driven by the relentless pursuit of 100%. At MITER Brands, we’re reframing what’s possible – for our team, our customers, and communities across America.Responsibilities:Review daily production needs and organize any hot orders.Review attendance and fill in for absent team members.Start morning stretches and five (5) minutes meeting in absence of Supervisor and Team Leader.Walk through the line and respond to any problems with the start-up, notify management if necessary.Contact material handlers or stockroom for any needed material/supplies/parts.Check production flow and make any adjustments needed.Pres shift and lunchtime weld break samples. Perform quality audits throughout the shift.Check samples and monitor the production of all sample units.Check to make sure repairs are ordered and daily production/parts are complete, and trucks shipping is clear.Monitor team members’ safety and surrounding environment.At the end of the shift make sure all machinery and lights are turned off.Assist with training of new team members.When the supervisor is absent the Team Leader steps into the Supervisor role and the Area Leader steps into the Team Leader role.Qualifications:High school diploma or an equivalent combination of experience and education to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.Requires a minimum of three years of experience working in a production environment.Strong communications and interpersonal skills.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to read and interpret regulations and policies in accordance with Company guidelines.Ability to interface with individuals with diverse backgrounds at varying levels of the organization.Able to train and motivate department personnel.Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.Ability to work flexible hours depending upon the needs of the department.What We OfferAt MITER Brands, we invest in your health, wealth, and wellness.
