Job summary

Pro Coffee Gear is seeking a Shipping Lead in Austin, TX to own outbound fulfillment from pick and pack to carrier handoff. You will set packing standards and train teammates to ensure on-time, accurate shipments.

The role requires a couple of years in warehouse or fulfillment, proficiency with WMS and shipping software, and a forklift certification is a plus. A fast-paced environment with growth opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own the daily outbound schedule so orders ship on time
• Manage carrier pickups, and freight bookings
• Set and maintain packing standards for espresso machines and fragile equipment
• Train warehouse teammates on shipping procedures
• Execute daily pick, pack, and ship operations with accuracy and speed to meet delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with carriers for pickup scheduling, tracking, and delivery optimization.
• Process orders using warehouse management systems and maintain shipment documentation.
• Returns workflow: Manage receiving, put-away, and stock organization of returns to optimize warehouse flow. Investigate inventory variances on out of stock orders.
• Assist with inventory projects as needed.
• Ensure all outbound shipments meet quality standards and packaging requirements.
• Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies or process bottlenecks.
• Process returns, exchanges, and damaged goods according to company policies.
• Coordinate with customer service on order status and shipping inquiries.

We serve cafés, roasters, restaurants, and serious home baristas with new and refurbished espresso machines, grinders, and accessories from the most respected brands in coffee.

About the Role

We're looking for a Shipping Lead to own outbound fulfillment at our Austin warehouse. You'll keep orders moving accurately and on time, from pick and pack through carrier handoff, and set the standard for how our equipment is packed and shipped.

Key Responsibilities

Ownership

• Own the daily outbound schedule so orders ship on time
