Job summary

EnerSys is a global leader in stored energy solutions. We are seeking a warehouse/shipping specialist to support inventory and order fulfillment.

You will process requests, pull materials, pack boxes, and prepare items for pickup in coordination with multiple departments. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, organized shipping area, building secure pallets, and ensuring accurate, timely shipments while supporting continuous improvement in distribution center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Strong analytical and math skills nice to have.
• Experience building relationships with shipping companies is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process orders; pull materials and pack boxes for delivery.
• Coordinate with departments to fulfill inventory and shipping needs.
• Maintain quality; follow shipping best-practices and organizational standards.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment; keep shipping areas neat.
• Pack and ship items securely to minimize breakage.
• Build and wrap pallets for secure shipment with carriers.
• Fill customer orders accurately and ship timely per policy.
