Southwest Economic Solutions is seeking a Shipping/Receiving associate to ensure safe and efficient operation of the Shipping and Receiving area. Responsibilities include load distribution, securing loads, inventory adjustment, and documentation verification.

The role requires DOT knowledge, ISO-9001 familiarity, and awareness of chemical hazards. The candidate will participate in training and on-the-job programs to understand procedures, forms, and responsible distribution concepts,

Formación

Shipping/receiving experience or training required.
Knowledge of DOT regulations.
Familiar with ISO-9001 concepts.
Knowledge of chemical hazards and labeling requirements.
Familiar with regulatory/safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

Oversee safe operation and quality output of Shipping and Receiving.
Maintain housekeeping of the department.
Ensure load distribution and proper securing of loads.
Verify materials against shipping documents and inspect incoming/outgoing materials.
Organize/rotate stock and assist production as needed.
Adhere to ISO-9001 procedures, work instructions and checklists.
Support environmental, health, safety and security practices.
