Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. in Hamilton, Ohio is seeking a safety‑conscious BLC Operator I to handle receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping duties in a fast paced warehouse. You will operate MHE such as forklift, reach truck, and scissor lift, use SAP for transactions, perform daily inspections, and maintain logs for accuracy.

The role requires overtime flexibility, strong math and attention to detail, plus teamwork to support plant goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is preferred and safety-conscious work habits are required.
• Forklift experience with license is preferred and may be needed for operations.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety and environmental policies.
• Operate and navigate MHE including dock stocker, reach truck, and scissor lift.
• Prepare items for shipment according to plant/customer requirements.
• Complete shipment and receipt paperwork; ensure accuracy of counts and docs.
• Process SAP transactions (returns, receipts, due lists) and update inventory.
• Use RF scanners for inventory transactions and goods processing.
• Store materials properly and assist with loading/unloading trucks.
• Verify labels match material descriptions against packing slips and SAP.
• Meet expectations for BLC Operator I: productivity and accuracy.
• Monitor transfer orders and address issues per HPWS standards.
• Schedule transportation with Appointment Plus when needed.
• Generate TOs, perform put-away tasks, and load/unload per productivity targets.
• Maintain Receiving Exception Logs and error logs for issue tracking.
• Keep a clean, organized work area following 6S and Optimal State guidelines.
• Conduct daily MHE inspections and report concerns promptly.
• Complete monthly safety training on time; embody company core values.
• Adhere to shift start times and overtime requirements, including occasional weekends.
