Job summary

White Cap is seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist to support hardware pricing, purchasing, and shipping, ensuring efficiency and cross-team collaboration. You will maintain price lists, quote specialty items, process hardware tickets, and manage shipping logistics to ensure timely fulfillment.

The role involves on-site duties in a high-volume distribution environment, coordinating with Shippers/Receivers, inventory control, and staff training for daily operations and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or associate degree may be required.
• Generally 7+ years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Reviews paperwork for incoming merchandise and customer orders in order to distribute work activities to team.
• Loads/unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand.
• Prepares inventory for shipment. Properly bands and shrink wraps pallets and attaches shipping labels.
• Processes shipping orders using computerized shipping system and monitors order pick report.
• Loads and unloads trucks and ensures trucks are loaded by Shippers.
• Maintains warehouse inventory on racks in a neat and orderly manner.
• Trains Shippers/Receivers as assigned.
• Tracks shipping errors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
