Job summary

Steel Tech Enterprises is seeking a shipping clerk to process and label shipments using Epicor ERP, prepare packing slips, and generate Bills of Lading. You will coordinate domestic and international shipping with carriers, and handle inventory receipts for finished goods.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and manufacturing shipping experience, with strong attention to detail and solid communication skills. Office and shop floor environment, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing/shipping clerk experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication with coworkers, customers, and carriers; read and interpret procedures.

Responsibilities

Process shipments using Epicor ERP and print shipping labels for containers and products.
Prepare and verify packing slips, shipping labels, and shipment documentation.
Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) for outbound shipments.
Coordinate shipping activities, including international shipments, with customers, carriers, and transportation providers.
Create inventory receipts for products entering finished goods inventory.
Accounts Receivable duties: price shipments, communicate with customers, collect past-due accounts, process payments.
Other duties as assigned.
