Job summary

Hireology in Whippany, NJ is seeking a dependable Shipping Associate to support daily warehouse shipping operations. You will handle pick lists, ship orders, and maintain accurate inventory records using ShipStation, Excel, and our IQ Reseller system.

The role requires strong attention to detail, good English communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, shipping, fulfillment, or order-picking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to search for and identify products using SKUs and inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Create, organize, and manage daily pick lists using ShipStation and Excel.
• Look up products, SKUs, quantities, and locations using the inventory system (IQ Reseller).
• Use Excel to organize, review, and create pick lists multiple times a day.
• Pick products accurately from warehouse locations based on pick lists and customer orders.
• Verify picked items, quantities, and product information before shipment.
• Assist with packing, labeling, staging, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Coordinate daily shipping priorities and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Communicate shipping issues, inventory discrepancies, and order problems to management.
• Maintain an organized shipping and picking area and clean up pallet spaces daily.
• Follow warehouse procedures and workplace safety requirements.
