Job summary

Inotiv is seeking aShipping Coordinator to support quality product delivery and maintain a clean, safe work environment. The role emphasizes organization, accuracy, and collaboration with Customer Service, production, and barrier management teams.

Responsibilities include processing orders, maintaining inventory, and coordinating shipping schedules while contributing to continuous improvement and Lean initiatives. This is an on-site position with strong emphasis on teamwork and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory systems and JDE preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in a warehouse or shipping environment highly desirable.
• Strong English communication — reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to IACUC and AAALAC Guides.
• Maintain accurate inventory by performing inventory transactions, weekly cycle counts, and maintaining records of the perpetual barrier animal inventory using the inventory control system.
• Process all customer orders and documentation to ensure timely processing with Customer Service and production teams.
• Prepare order documentation including pick lists and labels and verify accuracy prior to shipping.
• Allocate, prioritize and distribute orders within the production area.
• Prepare and maintain shipping schedules and share with relevant teams.
