Job summary

Gilson Graphics is seeking a Shipping Clerk to handle outbound shipments and ensure accurate, on-time delivery in Grand Rapids, MI. The role involves using shipping software, coordinating with packaging and customer service, and assisting Fulfillment while maintaining a clean warehouse.

Requirements include a high school education or GED, experience with hand trucks and pallet jacks, and proficiency in Outlook/Excel. This is a full-time position with standard weekday hours.

Qualifications

High school education, GED equivalent or higher.
Experience using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks.
Experience using carriers like FedEx and UPS preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
Demonstrated commitment to quality, detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Process customer jobs/orders using shipping management software and fulfillment system.
Keep manager informed of shortages and late shipments as soon as recognized.
Communicate clearly and professionally with packaging, customer service, shipping and others regarding shipments.
Assist Fulfillment as needed.
Help maintain a clean warehouse.
Other duties as assigned.
