Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a forklift truck operator to join our Shipping Department in Stuarts Draft, Virginia. You’ll support loading, unloading, pallet handling, and maintaining accurate information in the WMS to ensure smooth distribution.

You will work Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., on-site at 272 Patton Farm Road. A Lift Truck Operator license and basic math skills are required, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a cohesive team environment.
• Ability to work with computers (data entry).
• Basic math skills and lifting ability.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Lift Truck Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Replenishing the pick lane locations.
• Maintain accurate information in WMS.
• Communicate effectively with team members and primary customers.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Shrink wrap pallets.
• Load and unload cases onto conveyors when needed to fill distributor orders.
• Operate pallet inverter for Food Service and freezer loads.
• Cross-training in other areas.
• Perform a variety of lift truck assignments to support shipping operation.
• Clean and perform all other duties as assigned.
