Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Suffolk, VA to operate forklifts, support picking and shipping, and use handheld scanners across multiple departments. You will unload, receive, stow, pick, pack and ship orders to ensure customer satisfaction, while adhering to safety and productivity standards.

The role requires full shifts, possible overtime, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with training provided for PIT equipment and heights up to 80 feet.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work full shifts, overtime, and stand/walk for 10–12 hours.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Willing to push, pull, bend, squat, twist, grasp, and reach throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet on a mezzanine and up to 80 feet using PIT equipment with a safety harness.
• Willing to be trained and operate various powered industrial trucks (PIT), including forklifts and stock pickers.
• Committed to meeting safety, quality, productivity, and attendance standards.
• Demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operating a powered industrial truck (forklift) throughout the shift.
• Supporting picking, stowing, shuttling, loading, unloading and other jobs that use PIT equipment.
• Performing responsibilities across varying departments using a handheld scanner or computer.
• Unloading, receiving, stowing, picking, packing, shipping, or returning orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
