Job summary

As a Forklift Operator you will be responsible for all activities associated with safely operating and caring for the forklift including operation, cleanup and recommendation of improvements.

As a Forklift Operator you will:

• Operate and care for a forklift in a safe manner; must be qualified to operate
• Maintain neat, orderly and safe stacks of stock in storage areas and when loading trailers
• Assist other forklift operators as necessary
• Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
• Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs; be proactive in the maintenance of equipment
• Stretch wrap units, palletize and use corner protectors as required
• Unload trailers as needed while checking product’s quality and quantity
• Regular and predictable attendance with overtime allowance as job requires
• Keep warehouse organized and clean
• Make regular cycle counts on stock and actively participate in all inventories
• Additional duties as assigned
