Job summary

TRG Cincinnati is seeking 2nd shift Forklift Operators to support our Milford, OH facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will drive a forklift, unload inbound shipments, and stage skids for outbound shipments.

You’ll maintain daily records of forklift maintenance, follow safety guidelines, and coordinate loading/unloading operations to meet tight deadlines. This role offers year-round employment with competitive pay and benefits.

TRG Cincinnati , a subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking 2nd Shift Forklift Operators to support our Milford, OH facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for driving a forklift truck, unload incoming shipments, prepare, and stage skids for outbound shipments, maintain daily records of forklift maintenance and maintain safety.

2nd shift hours are from 3:30pm-12:00am Monday through Friday.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:

• Unload inbound shipments.
• Prepare and stage skids for outbound shipments.
• Maintain accurate stock records and schedules.
• Stack and store merchandise in appropriate place.
• Make sure orders are being filled and completed accurately.
• Oversee special orders and after-hours urgent shipping jobs.
• Maintain daily records of forklift care and maintenance.
• Select products for specific routes according to pick sheets.
• Transport goods from racks, shelves, and vehicles.
• Coordinate loading and unloading operations.
• Document and maintain assigned equipment condition daily.
• Inspect facility related manufacturing support systems daily.
• Regularly update the maintenance database using computer workstations.
• Receive incoming shipments and review contents against a purchase order for accuracy.
• Check load sheets and plan work accordingly to prevent accidents.
• Work at a rapid pace to meet tight deadlines.
• Remove pallets and damaged products from returning trailers.
• Follow all food safety guidelines.

TRG CINCINNATI REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to be on a forklift the entire shift.
• Ability to work up to 30 feet in the air while pulling orders or performing cycle counts.
• Willingness to be cross trained in all warehouse functions and departments.
• The ability to function as a mature, professional individual, who interacts positively with teammates.
• The willingness to function effectively in a team environment and tackle any task required for the success of the team.
• Flexible schedule that allows you to work overtime on short notice in order to make sure all orders are shipped in a timely manner.
