Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems is seeking a Shipping Dock Loader/Forklift Operator to support loading and unloading shipments, perform monthly cycle counts, and document shipments accurately while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be a certified forklift operator with a High School diploma or equivalent, capable of lifting up to 75 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working 40+ hours weekly with weekend and on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be a certified forklift operator.
• Some shipping or logistics experience preferred.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Self-motivation, dependability, teamwork, written and verbal skills, energetic, basic mathematical skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound or outbound shipments with accuracy.
• Assist with monthly cycle counts and accurately document all shipments and receipts.
• Report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintain safe working conditions and PPE compliance.
• Operate forklift and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Load correct products on outbound shipments and unload inbound shipments promptly.
