CNH in New Holland, PA is seeking a Shipping Dock Coordinator to oversee dock scheduling, outbound shipments, and returnable container management, ensuring accurate inventory and timely plant operations.

You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers while using logistics and inventory systems to support safe, efficient workflows. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant logistics experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of technical/college education and/or 3 years of related logistics experience preferred.
• Experience with dock scheduling, inventory systems, or MRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train others on basic data collection tools such as scales, scanners, printers, PCs.
• Demonstrate expert-level proficiency using scheduling, sequencing, and inventory management software.
• Manage dock scheduling processes and tools.
• Maintain returnable container loops for external suppliers.
• Process outbound shipments accurately and communicate shipment info internally and externally.
• Utilize tools like SharePoint, Access, WMS, and MRP for data collection and communication.
• Collaborate with Finance and Material Management to support workflows.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders including vendors and transportation designees.
• Audit and reconcile inventory issues in a timely manner.
• Support logistics and plant operations as needed.

Job Purpose

The Shipping Dock Coordinator oversees dock scheduling, outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, and returnable container management to ensure the efficient flow of materials. This role coordinates with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and customers while utilizing logistics and inventory systems to support safe, accurate, and timely plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Train others on basic data collection tools such as scales, scanners, printers, PCs.
• Demonstrate expert-level proficiency using the associated software systems, including scheduling, sequencing, and inventory management programs.
• Ability to manage and maintain plant dock scheduling processes and tools.
• Ability to manage and maintain the returnable container loops for external suppliers.
• Ability to accurately systematically and physically process outbound shipments to external customers and suppliers, and to communicate appropriate shipment information back to the appropriate internal and/or external customer(s).
• Ability to operate and utilize advanced data collection and communication tools such as Sharepoint, Access, WMS, and MRP.
• Skills, or the ability to learn the skills, to work with Finance and Material Management teams to facilitate accurate and timely WorkFlow processes.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with internal colleagues, plant management, plant personnel, vendors, suppliers, and transportation designees.
• Applicants will have the ability to utilize all the process tools to coordinate an accurate inventory environment, and to audit and reconcile all inventory issues in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned to support the logistics and plant operations.

Experience Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years technical/college education and/or 3 years of related experience in a logistics operation preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Daily use of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job
• Software proficiency in MRP, Sharepoint, Access, or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $25.80 - plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
