Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in Lakeland, FL is hiring a Shipping Utility to support distribution operations, ensuring safe, efficient movement of product and accurate inventories. The role requires operating forklifts, stacking baskets up to 17 high, and collaborating with Shipping and Distribution teams in a fast-paced plant setting.

You will review turnover information, load/unload trucks, and maintain GMP/HACCP documentation while contributing to safe and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely load, unload and move full stacks of bread and baskets.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Review shift turnover information, including equipment status and concerns.
• Operate basket stackers and provide relief coverage as needed.
• Load and unload trucks and interplant shipments.
• Pick depot orders accurately at the offsite distribution center.
• Ensure proper product rotation and inventory movement.
• Stack baskets safely up to 15 to 17 high.
• Load and unload finished products within the shipping area.
• Maintain accurate production counts and required documentation (HACCP/CTS).
• Operate forklifts and other equipment used in the department.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and safe.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding needs and concerns.
