Qualifications

• Experience with shipping, packing, and crate preparation.
• Ability to operate hand tools and forklifts.
• Familiarity with carrier and shipping paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items for ground carrier transport by wrapping and boxing.
• Utilize hand tools to build crates for freight.
• Secure items by strapping to pallets.
• Enter shipment data into enterprise systems and generate BOL.
• Operate forklift to load and unload freight.
• File customer paperwork and complete broker documentation.
• Receive jobs from customers and Account Managers.
• Inspect items against records for accuracy.
• Paint components in preparation for shipping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
