Job summary

Morton Salt is seeking a Shipping Clerk at our Fairless Hills facility to provide administrative support for the Shipping Department and serve as the first contact for inbound carriers arriving at the site. This role reports to the Shipping Supervisor and supports safe, efficient, on-time customer shipments while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

You will coordinate truck arrivals, direct drivers to loading locations, maintain shipping documentation, and ensure clear communication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of shipping, transportation, warehouse administration, or logistics experience.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary point of contact for all inbound truck drivers entering the facility.
• Verify carrier information and shipment documentation upon arrival.
• Check drivers in and direct them to loading locations (Docks 1-4 or flatbed area).
• Maintain an orderly flow of truck traffic and improve loading efficiency.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain all shipping documentation and records.
