Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Shipping Clerk to bill out trucks after loading and checking for accuracy per customer orders. You will enter data to generate driver bills, track tub counts, and prepare USDA labels as needed in a fast-paced food production setting.

Responsibilities include verifying loads with loaders, maintaining accurate paperwork, and assisting with loading tasks. Candidates should follow safety policies and communicate effectively within the team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math skills including percentages.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with minimal supervision.

• Perform minor repairs of computer/printer or contact the Business Systems Technician for assistance.
• Gather and organize orders prior to start of shift.
• Other duties as required by management and supervision.

SHIPPING CLERK

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

1. To check the loads after finished by Loaders to make sure it is complete according to customer order.
2. Enter necessary data into computer to print bills for truck drivers.
3. Enter data for tub count into computer (tubs sent and tubs received)
4. Make USDA labels as needed.
5. Monitor number of boxes scanned by loaders to make sure all are done.
6. Assist in loading as needed.
7. Minor repair of computer/printer or contact Business Systems Technician for assistance.
8. Gather and organize orders prior to start of shift.
9. Other duties as required by management and supervision.

• Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
