Job summary

Pilgrim's is hiring a Shipping Clerk to ensure orders are complete and properly labeled. You will enter data, print bills for truck drivers, and track tub counts. You may assist with loading and perform minor equipment repairs as needed.

This role requires English proficiency, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will follow safety policies and support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn USDA and QU paperwork requirements.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Check loads after finished by Loaders to ensure completeness per customer order.
• Enter data into computer to print bills for truck drivers.
• Enter tub counts into computer (tubs sent and received).
• Create USDA labels as needed.
• Monitor boxes scanned by loaders to ensure all are accounted for.
• Assist in loading as needed.
• Minor repair of computer/printer or contact for assistance.
• Gather and organize orders prior to shift start.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

SHIPPING CLERK

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To check the loads after finished by Loaders to make sure it is complete according to customer order.
• Enter necessary data into computer to print bills for truck drivers.
• Enter data for tub count into computer (tubs sent and tubs received)
• Make USDA labels as needed
• Monitor number of boxes scanned by loaders to make sure all are done.
• Assist in loading as needed.
• Minor repair of computer/printer or contact Business Systems Technician for assistance.
• Gather and organize orders prior to start of shift.
• Other duties as required by management and supervision.
