Job summary

Restaurant Technologies is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to support warehouse operations at our Mendota Heights location. The role focuses on accurate shipments, proper documentation, and efficient material flow to over 40 depots.

The onsite position runs Monday through Friday with a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule. Compensation is $24.00 per hour with a 10% bonus opportunity, and candidates will cross-train in warehouse receiving duties to support operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience including shipping and receiving.
• Experience safely operating a forklift and willingness to obtain Forklift Certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with timely follow-up.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking in a warehouse distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to warehouse staff (data entry, shipping labels, other clerical tasks).
• Create Bills of Lading and shipping documents; contact freight carrier as needed.
• Ensure picking and shipping accuracy and proper labeling/packaging per RTI specs.
• Load/unload trucks and assist with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
• Coordinate flow of pick orders, processing, and packaging for depot shipments.
• Operate forklift or other power-driven equipment; maintain forklift safety.

Shipping Coordinator

Shipping Coordinator The Warehouse Shipping Coordinator supports RTI’s growing supply chain operations by helping ensure shipments are accurate, documentation is complete, inventory activities are supported, and materials move efficiently through the warehouse to and from our 40+ depots. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support to the warehouse staff such as data entry tasks, completing shipping labels, and other computer tasks.
• Create Bill of Ladings, assemble shipping documentation, and contact Freight Carrier as needed.
• Ensures picking and shipping accuracy.
• “Hands on” involvement in all aspects of the distribution operations including small package, LTL, TL, returns, receiving, etc.
• Coordinates the flow of Pick Orders, processing and packaging as required for material to be shipped to our depots.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Assists with physical inventory discrepancy resolution and performs cycle counting as required.
• Post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment.
• Ensures shipment is labeled and packaged according to RTI specifications.
• Operates forklift or other power‑driven equipment to load or move materials.
• Ensures forklift maintenance is up to date.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, workstation and shipping supply areas neat and orderly in compliance with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Ensures that RTI is complying with all federally regulated requirements, including OSHA and HACCP.
• Ability to work closely with internal and external customers to solve problems and answer questions.
• Will cross‑train in Warehouse Receiving Clerk responsibilities and provides coverage as needed to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 - 2 years of warehouse experience; including shipping and receiving.
• Experience safely operating a forklift and willingness to obtain a Forklift Certification through the company.
• Proven ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including timely follow‑up and consistent follow‑through with internal and external customers.
• Problem‑solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess situations, identify solutions, and make sound decisions in a warehouse distribution environment.
