Job summary

GHSP in Mansfield, OH is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to act as the interface between Shipping and the Order Management team. You will complete transactions and paperwork to ensure shipments are completed on time.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, processing bills of lading, coordinating carriers, sending ASN notifications, scheduling pickups, and maintaining outbound shipment records. Strong communication and basic office IT skills are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to produce, organize, and distribute documents and transactions to ship material within facility inventory systems.
• Experience with movement of materials through a computerized tracking system.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with general office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review Job Orders and distribute Pick Lists.
• Process Bills of Lading.
• Initiate change orders including carrier changes.
• Send Automatic Ship Notifications (ASNs).
• Schedule RMA pick-ups.
• Create and set up sample orders.
• Verify non-standard shipment arrangements.
• Schedule shipments outside planned routes.
• Maintain records of outbound shipments.
• Complete Debit/Credit Memos based on Quality emails.
• Provide coverage when Receiving Coordinator is unavailable.
• Communicate quality alerts.

• Sample order creation and setup
• Verifying non-standard shipment arrangements
• Scheduling shipments outside of planned routes
• Record keeping of outbound shipments
• Debit/Credit Memo’s – complete transactions based on emails from Quality
• Partial coverage when Receiving Coordinator is out
• Communication of quality alerts
